Accelerating cost reduction and efficiency increase, 600W+ Alliance meeting shares the newest 210 product’ achievements

Recently, the 600W+ Alliance annual meeting was held in Beijing. Risen Energy, Trina Solar, Canadian Solar, Si-neng Electric and other members, together with power design institutes, EPC, development units, and business representatives from all links of the industrial chain, shared the newest 210 product development results.

The current number of 600W+ alliance members has increased to more than 70 till now, fully covering the upstream and downstream industrial chains. All members collaborate closely with each other to promote the standardization of silicon wafers and module sizes, which has effectively saved the costs of upstream production and downstream use.

Song Yifeng, Director of Product Management Department of Risen Energy, fully shared the latest information and research result about 210 Series Modules’ Application. The Titan series products incorporate with advanced MBB technology and non-destructive cutting technology. The power of modules can be increased about 2~3% while the risk of cracking can be greatly reduced. Titan series of modules cover the power range of 410W-660W, which can suit multi-scenario applications.

Furthermore, Song Yifeng indicated various transportation plans for 210 to reduce shipping costs. Transportation efficiency is expected to be improved through stacking and packing, vertical packing and other methods with more than 10% reduction. 210 products are regarded as the best product to achieve the greatest reduction in BOS and LCOE.

Application-side customer representatives highly praised the 600W+ Alliance's unification of product standards. It will shorten the construction period of PV farms, reduce waste of procurement process, and decrease investment cost, which can help solve customers’ problem more efficiently. Song Yifeng held the point that it is alliance members’ ultimate goal to improve efficiency through technological innovation, reduce the cost of electricity per kilowatt-hour, and create the maximal benefits for customers. In the future, Risen Energy will further cooperate with other 600W+ alliance members to adhere to customer demands continuously, promoting the high-quality and rapid development of the PV industry.
