However, the upgrade of the steel throat needs to face two problems:
1 Is the position of the steel throat reasonable? Whether there will be touch and pull. The position of the modified steel throat is often different from the original factory, and needs to be re-arranged. Many refit shops are not so professional, they have no experience in the installation of steel throats, and the location is not rigorous, which may easily cause the steel throats to rub against other parts of the body during the vehicle journey. The steel throat is very fragile. As long as there is friction, there will be a safety hazard for a long time. Once the brake fluid leaks, the brakes will be gone.
Especially for some special brand models, such as Land Rover, if you choose to replace the big-name general-purpose steel throat, the position of the steel throat is likely to need to be adjusted many times before it can be used normally. At some special angles, it is still not guaranteed not to touch. At this time, it is necessary to consider replacing the steel throat with the original position. The structure, position, and length are exactly the same as the original factory. The only difference is that the rubber hose is turned into a steel throat. 2. Accurate data, accurate length of brake steel throat and accurate joint data are the most basic requirements, and also the premise of normal loading, otherwise it will cause unnecessary accidents such as touching and pulling.

In the brake system, the driver pushes the brake master cylinder to compress by stepping on the brake pedal, transmits the brake oil to the brake cylinder (caliper or drum brake) through the oil pipe, and pushes the piston to tightly rub the brake pad and the brake disc. Friction also occurs to slow down the vehicle, completing a braking process. The brake hose acts as a conduit for hydraulic fluid, like a blood vessel, transporting blood energy to the organs. People can't live without blood vessels, and cars can't stop without brake hoses. Although the brake hose is small, it has a great effect.
First, let's talk about the shortcomings of the original car rubber tubing:
Although the elasticity of the rubber hose is within an acceptable range, in fact, when the brake oil is working, the rubber hose will still expand to a certain extent, so it will absorb a part of the pressure of the brake oil. This is more pronounced with increasing stress. Therefore, in many emergency situations, the brakes are pressed hard, but the brakes are found to be the same as if they were not. This is caused by the instantaneous expansion of the brake hose.
In addition, the high temperature resistance of ordinary rubber tubing is poor. When the brake oil is high temperature and high pressure, it is easy to cause the tubing to rupture, and the brake failure affects driving safety! Especially after long-term use, the rubber tube with poor weather resistance becomes brittle and hard due to oxidation, which greatly increases the probability of rupture.

When it drops to zero, the sensitivity of the brakes also increases. In addition, the stainless steel mesh is also more conducive to heat dissipation, which can effectively reduce the temperature of the brake fluid. The outermost layer is then wrapped in fireproof and dustproof PVC to further strengthen its firmness and durability.
