SAINT BELLA collaborates with UCCA to release a limited edition underarm swim ring for newborns on Children’s Day

On May 29 2023, the luxurious maternity care brand SAINT BELLA, together with UCCA, held a media conference at UCCA Beijing to release an innovative “underarm swim ring for newborns” as a limited edition for Children’s Day limited edition. As a pioneer in the maternity industry, SAINT BELLA advocates for “replacing neck floats with underarm floats” as part of a science-based approach towards newborn swimming, hoping to achieve more detailed scenario-based services through product innovation.

UCCA Director Philip Tinari, SAINT BELLA founder and CEO Danny Xiang, and SAINT BELLA co-founder and COO Minee Lin delivered speeches at the product release. Professor Dai Shufeng, professor of pediatrics at Peking University First Hospital, director of the China Healthy Birth Science Association and Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development, and editorial board member of multiple national journals; Liu Wei, director of Beijing United Family Women’s and Children’s Hospital; and Ju Baiyu, a well-known art critic, attended the conference alongside a host of media representatives and KOLs.

At the press conference, SAINT BELLA founder Danny Xiang said, "We hope to use UCCA's advanced museum education resources to bring art to every newborn, integrate innovative product upgrades into the details of the services we provide, and together become the foundation for every child’s artistic journey.

UCCA Director Philip Tinari, further elaborated on the impetus for the collaboration, “SAINT BELLA is the first luxury maternity and newborn care brand in China to create an art therapy curriculum, and we hope to combine our respective strengths to promote the development of art and aesthetic education in China.”

Minee Lin, co-founder of SAINT BELLA, shared her thinking about the underarm swim ring for newborns: The swim float was not developed for the purpose of sales, but due to the lack of underarm floats in the market and for the improvement of experiences in SAINT BELLA’s scenario-based services, in order to establish a more scientific and advanced approach to parenting through practical action.

The press conference also hosted a special roundtable dialogue session, in which Professor Dai Shufeng, Liu Wei, and Ju Baiyu discussed the topic of “The Science and Art of Parenting.”

The press conference theme, “Drift with Master,” and the design of the underarm swim ring for newborns was inspired by the twentieth century modern art movement of Fauvism. The brand hopes to build an imaginative fantasy world for each baby, full of vibrant blocks of color.

In addition, SAINT BELLA announced plans for future long-term collaboration with UCCA, including special workshops, Aranya study trips, and UCCA Kids classes to further extend its art therapy programs from postpartum care into early childhood art education. SAINT BELLA is elevating the “ceiling” of the maternity industry with higher standards, consolidating its leading position.
