2023 Hangzhou Youth Innovation Season | "Coolest Intern" Recruitment, ‘Chaoqu Hangzhou’ The launch of Youth Urban Experience Activities

 

As a major event of Hangzhou 2023 "Youth Tide Creation Season", on the evening of June 23rd, at the Hubin Pedestrian Street, a special live broadcast was launched to kick off the recruitment for "The Coolest Intern" and the youth city experience activity "Chaoqu Hangzhou". Six industry experts, young talents and professional tour guides transformed into online hosts to promote the job position of "The Coolest Intern" and high-quality cultural tourism routes of "Chaoqu Hangzhou" to young people both domestically and globally. Special plans such as "Chaoqu Blind Box" targeting young people were also launched the same day.

After careful selection, the organizer of the event has chosen 18 positions from six major categories among more than 1,700 companies and institutions that best reflect Hangzhou's technological capabilities, industrial vitality, and cultural charm. During the live broadcast, six presenters shared their work and entrepreneurial experiences in Hangzhou, explaining job characteristics, internship tasks, recruitment requirements and other content. Li Haojie from the Hangzhou Institute of Advanced Studies at UCAS said: "I have lived in Hangzhou for three years. It is a vibrant city that values talents very much. 'The Coolest Intern' is a precious opportunity. I hope more young talents can come to Hangzhou through this event and create their own new world."

"In my eyes, Hangzhou is a city with a strong cultural atmosphere that integrates openness and development through innovation. I invite you to come to Hangzhou to inherit beauty and create beauty." Chen XiYue, a national style expert who gained attention for her "West Lake Flower Seller" series, entered the live broadcast room and recommended the position of youth ambassador for De Shou Palace's Song Dynasty culture. She also passionately shared her deep emotions towards Chinese traditional culture.

As a well-known influencer who promotes hometown agricultural products through social media, He Jiangnan said he feels "nervous" before live streaming which he rarely feels: "I used to do live broadcasts and sales by myself. Today I am promoting internship positions on behalf of Hangzhou. I want to show the best side." He Jiangnan, who chose to start a business in his hometown and revitalize rural areas, is recruiting for the position of rural operations manager in Lin'an District online, inviting everyone to come to the fields and make Hangzhou's countryside more abundant and beautiful.

Meanwhile, new activities such as "Chaoqu Hangzhou" city experience routes and "Chaoqu Blind Box" draw have been launched. The city has selected 38 representative, educational and interesting cultural tourism routes, inviting young people from around the world to experience them for free. In the live broadcast studio, professional tour guides recommend popular check-in points one by one, unlocking new ways of playing in Hangzhou for young people and helping them further understand the city. On the "Talent Hangzhou" mini-program, there are also more than 7,000 "Chaoqu Blind Boxes" waiting for young people to open. These blind boxes contain representative characteristic cultural and creative products of Hangzhou as well as special promotion on various cultural tourism activities.

"The place that has the youth, has the future." On May 6th 2023, the 2023 Hangzhou Youth Innovation Season was officially launched. The Hangzhou University Cloud Recruitment Fair focused on the "five major industries" in Hangzhou. A total of 20,000 positions were provided by 5,000 state-owned enterprises, institutions and research institutes so that graduating college students could select jobs without leaving their homes.
