truth revealed about why farmers sprayed manure on 'illegal campers'

This is certainly one way of getting rid of trespassers on your land.

French farmers decided to evict some travellers on a farm by sending them a smelly message and spraying them with loads of manure.

Last month, photographer Loic Madre caught the cheeky attack when tractors drove around in circles on the farm in Hautes-Vosges spraying it all around.

The stinking dung was a fresh bid from the tractors to make the area uninhabitable for the squatters.

The travellers can be seen sprinting after the tractors, with one even seen holding on to the side of one and shaking his fist.

Loic said that the travellers were on the farm without permission and said the harvest will take place in the next few weeks.

This is why they were so keen to get them off the land, because the grass the travellers were on is set to be used as animal feed.

Loic told Daily Mail: ‘It was difficult to negotiate with the travellers; they refused to listen. The farmers received no support from the local authorities or the police.

‘So they handled it on their own! As you can see in the images.’

Local media also reports that farmers in the area have not received support from police about the travellers.

After a few days the efforts of the farmers proved to work because the travellers were forced to leave, according to Loic.

‘The meadow was badly damaged, but they left,he added.

The video was posted on X and has since gone viral with more than 11,000 retweets.

One user called Brugade Jean Michel pointed out: ‘The sprayed liquid is pig manure. The smell is so strong and long-lasting that the air is unbreathable for several days.’

Another person named AngloGenXer said: ‘Feel good video of the day, that.’

Terri Lipanovic also liked the video and added: ‘This is so good!’
